Monday, Monday

Alex arrived this weekend, and we spent a good weekend together before his mother had to go home and the work/day-care week started. (No photos yet, but I'll have some soon.) I seriously think he's grown three inches since January.

Had a massive bout of self-doubt this morning, but I think that was mostly due to having left Alex at day care; by the time I got to the office, it had faded almost entirely. Most of it was second-guessing myself, too, so I think I just need to learn to follow through on what's done and deal with the consequences as they come.

And now, silliness.

Insecurity

I'm doing well in my job. I know this because I make it a point to ask my supervisor, every two months or so, how I'm doing and whether I need to make any improvement. At the beginning of this month, she told me that I was doing fine and didn't need to improve anything, just like she has for the last three meetings.
