Ever have...

...one of those "wait, what the hell?" moments?
Anyway.
A memo to all drivers: merging is a privilege, not a right. You must ask for it each and every time by way of using your God damned turn signals. This applies to changing lanes as well. Also, exit lanes are not good places to get ahead of the pack in traffic jams, as you will just piss other people off by blocking the exit while you wait for someone up ahead to let you in. Further, the shoulder is also not a good place to get ahead of the pack, as it is illegal and also will piss people off on general principle. (For what it's worth, I've seen a police officer parked on the shoulder during a traffic jam, walking back along the row of cars who tried to use the shoulder to jump ahead and writing tickets for driving on the shoulder in non-emergency conditions.)
No more headache today. Possibly due to Aleve (which I took last night at about 7 PM, so it should be wearing off soon), possibly due to headaches not actually being all that severe in the first place. On the other hand, I slept through my alarm today. >_<
I've been inspired to try a new technique for drawing, weirdly by a project my sister did in her seventh-grade art class (nearly ten years ago). We'll see how it goes.
State election officials introduced a new order for the English alphabet Monday, which will determine the order that the names of California's gubernatorial recall election candidates will appear on the ballot.
Anyway.

Men.
Preach it, brother.
Now, if only I could enforce the traffic rules with Twin RLs and a VMG in a turret...
