A brief anecdote

From Mark Rosewater's column Type 1, Take 2:

"Why are you drifting away from Richard Garfield's vision?"

I've heard this complaint numerous times so I decided to go right to the source and ask Richard. "Richard," I said, "Has R&D drifted from your vision?"

His answer, "No."
