Pain. Lots of pain.

I have learned four things today:

1. I should patch the holes in my email (from when I couldn't check from home) as soon as possible after I get the patches, not when it's convenient. Otherwise, it will only be convenient when I can't find the CD with the patches.
   
   
2. I should always write down important phone numbers in a convenient place. (I actually do this; it's just that I forgot this time, and now I can't find cmccurry's phone number and it is, apparently, unlisted. I have it printed out - but it's with the directions that I probably threw out and that are from an email I can't access - see #1, above.)
   
   
3. The email server will always be down when I need it most.
   
   
4. Metroid Prime is a difficult game, but a lot of fun and well worth it. Now I have to

   • finish it on Hard Mode
