Your mother told you

This has already been a long day. It's going to keep being one - I can tell.
Already I've been frustrated by someone I haven't even talked to today, by work, by friends, by family.... argh!
Hm.
Bright sides.
Monday night Dave and I went to see Two Weeks' Notice. Despite my initial apprehension, it was actually a really fun movie - nothing particularly amazing about the plot or the subject, but the dialogue was clean, snappy, and immensely fun to listen to. The writers missed at least one major gag, but it was probably overshadowed by the gag that came immediately afterward, so it may have been for the best.
Last night I picked up a book on the design aspect of video game design - at $15 for a $50 book, I wasn't complaining - as well as Animal Crossing and the PS2 Harvest Moon game. I also had my PS2 replaced; I bought Electronics Boutique's two-year service agreement when I bought the machine, which was two years ago at the end of the month, and decided to replace it before the ESA expired. (The drawer was grinding and the lens was going bad, although a cleaner alleviated that somewhat.) Now all I need is a decent TV...
Lastly, today is comics day. So I'll at least have something new to look at while the roommate watches Trigun. Hopefully this will include Gold Brick 2.
Oh well. Things aren't all bad.
