Pain. Lots of pain.

I have been cleaning my room. This mostly consists of taking things out of boxes, condensing them, and re-boxing them. (Many of these boxes are filled with books, hastily piled in instead of neatly stacked, from when I moved in April.) Oddly, the dust isn't bothering me much. I must be getting used to this.
On the other hand, a mote of dust has apparently lodged itself in the outer corner of my left eye, and is resisting all attempts to dislodge it. And it hurts. I guess this is something else I'm going to have to get used to.
Dave moves in on Monday, although to be fair he's not bringing a whole lot of stuff and as he's lived with me before he knows the general state of my room anyway; still, it would be nice to have it cleaned and straightened when he gets here. One of the bureaus probably has to go, which is a pity (as bureaus are nice for storing things like clothes); on the other hand, there are two, and I do usually store my clothes downstairs in the laundry room, so...
Ah, stream-of-consciousness updating.
(By the way, I picked up a new Eric Clapton CD (which is apparently an anthology) and a new copy of Joy Of Cooking (as her current copy predates the microwave oven) for my mother.
