I received an unusual Nigerian-scam spam today. It had all of the usual elements; the unusual part comes in that it used my father's name as the name of the deceased client. (I'd be more concerned, except that a) it's obviously just another scam that had an odd coincidence of names, and b) I don't think my father's ever been to Nigeria, let alone had cause to have the Nigerian Ministry of Agriculture owe him $15 million.) So I forwarded it on to my parents, figuring they'd think it was funny. (Although it just occurred to me that their email client might flag it as spam. Hm.)
And now, Homer Simpson:
"You tried... and you failed. The lesson here is: Never try."
