I was all psyched about this Light Rail scheme.

Then I discovered that the flight leaves at 7 AM, not 7 PM as I'd remembered.

I have to be at the airport before the Light Rail starts running.

Goddammit. I guess we could go down tonight and sleep in the terminal, but having done that before, it's not exactly conducive to a good night's sleep.

Um... according to the MTA website, the Light Rail satarts running at 0500 on Saturday. True, it may take a while to get you there once it leaves the station, and you're going to have to change to the shuttle bus downtown, but it still ought to get you there.

If it just isn't going to work and you need a volunteer to drive you to BWI, I might be able to help out -- I'm going to have to be up pretty early on Saturday anyway.

Unfortunately, even if we managed to catch a 5 AM train, we'd probably be arriving at the airport as our plane was taking off. (It's an hour and a half on the Light Rail itself, and I don't know how much slower the shuttle is.)

We'll probably just end up taking the Rail down tonight and catching some sleep in the airport.

My sympathies. Tracy and I are rather stuck for transportation (at an obscene hour) to BWI ourselves. 7 am takeoff, and no one to drive us to the airport. I just hate the idea of leaving my car in long-term parking, but I don't I've got much choice.
