I am so bored. So I'm posting through email, which is kinda neat.
My supervisor is having tech support done on her (new Dell) computer today.
My supervisor is out of the office today. Thus, I get to sit in her office
(as I have been for the last two and a half hours) waiting for Dell tech
support to call and say "Yeah, we'll be out later today". (They wouldn't take
my phone number as the contact point; that would have been too easy.)
So I've been reading up on some of the regression models I'll be using this
week (Cox proportional hazard models, if anybody's interested) and futzing
around on the web.
Alex did not want to go to sleep last night, so I let him stay up and
watch cartoons. At 10 PM, I decided that it was finally bedtime and told him
so, at which point he burst into tears, insisting that he was not
tired. I took him upstairs anyway, tucked him in, turned the light
out, and turned on Love Hina, and when I went to bed several minutes
later he was fast asleep. Poor kid. He was running around the house all day
(but refused to play outside), so it's no wonder he was exhausted. I think he
might be gearing up for Mommy to come get him, so I hope that actually happens
as planned. (Asking about that will get you soundly ignored, just so you
know.)
