...is that when one needs two people for something, one is in a bit of a spot.
In particular, today I need to go to the mechanic's shop and pick up the car that my sister usually drives. Normally, I'd ask Dave to drive me to the shop - but Dave isn't in town right at the moment, so I'm out of luck there. And since AAA has refused to tow the car unless there's something wrong with it (don't ask me why; maybe I just got a crabby operator), that means I get to walk to town and pick up the car myself.
It's not a very long walk - five miles at most. I used to do the reverse direction when I was in high school. It's just... irritating.
Guess I'd better track down my raincoat.
