Alive, awake...

...and startlingly consequences-free. No hangover, no strange people sleeping in my bed - well, Dave is pretty strange, but at least I recognize him and know why here's there - and about as much sleep as I expected to get. (Eight hours on the nose, if you're curious.) Right now I'm taking advantage of the hotel's broadband to download Mozilla to my laptop; in about 20 minutes, if I can get myself out of the chair and into the shower, I may go join telerib at the "Opening Lines for Dummies" panel.
