We just arrived home from Arisia. Had fun, saw and met lots of interesting people, and came home with... er, nothing. Except a few photographs and a con program. The house is just as we left it - well, okay, slightly whiter as the result of about half an inch of snow - and the pipes haven't frozen, so all seems to be good.

Well, almost all.

The Traditional Values Coalition seems to think that the American Family Association isn't doing a good enough job of forcing non-heterosexuals into roles as second-class citizens. Why do I say this? Because they've set up their own poll.

Actually, the TVC has a number of interesting polls, including surveys on whether to abolish all laws regarding private consensual sex and whether the US government should recognize Canadian "so-called 'same-sex marriages'".

Rock the vote, people.

Hmm...I don't know. I've seen how well the public takes care of bathrooms. Not sure I want them having sex that easily. -:-)

How about a poll on whether the Canadians give a roaring metaphor *what* the TVC, or for that matter the US government says?... Wonder where these organisations come from. I assume, wherever it is, it has to be dark - and damp.

I've always assumed they come from Alabama. Which is to say...yeah, dark and damp.

You know that my State Song has in its second line, "the darkies are gay?"
