thats very cool! my friend also got a telescope for Christmas...she wanted to use it last night b/c it was clear outside...but just too darn cold for her.
It was pretty funny. My family had just been out to play with the telescope, and had only just gone inside when I found Saturn. So I got everybody back out again, and made them look without telling them what it was, and my mother's first reaction was "No, that's a piece of paper you taped to the lens." :)
