Finally arrived

So I'm in Richmond now. I'm partially unpacked. I have food, and water, and a fan, and (flaky) internet access. Life could be a lot worse.
The trip down was really pretty boring - lots of interstates and state roads. I did have one weird moment, though, when I stopped to get gas about 80 miles in.
See, when I pulled into the gas station, the price for regular unleaded was $2.73 a gallon. I saw someone walking over to the sign, but didn't think much of it. I got out, checked the pump display - $2.73 - and went to the back to close the rear driver's-side window (from which my keyboard's cable was dangling). When I got back, the numbers were off the sign. I checked the price again - $2.57. And that's what I was charged.
The price of gas at that station dropped sixteen cents between when I got there and when I started pumping gas. (And if I'd left even a minute earlier, I would have paid the higher price.)
Score one for good timing.
Anyway. Not much else to report.
