This morning

- Slept in. (It's kind of sad that "sleeping in" for me is 9 AM.)

- Got to breakfast late; arrived at 9:55, the crew who cleans up and takes all the food away showed up at 10. So we got breakfast, but just barely. (Is it just me, or has "continental breakfast" meant less and less recently? I remember getting continental breakfasts twelve years ago that were ham, eggs, bacon, hot pastries, etc. Now it's bread, cold pastries, and fruit.)

- Went out to the beach, snorkeled again - the fish are much more flashy and beautiful in the morning light - and sunbathed for half an hour or so. Hopefully I'll make some headway on this "pasty white" thing by Tuesday.

Now taking a break while my father takes a shower. Soon, we're apparently heading out to the Condado, and possibly to Isla Verde.

Also, I found out that my father thought that the little fort outside our hotel was, in fact, El Morro, and not just un morro, so it's probably just un fuerte and not a morro at all.

New hotel

We're leaving the Caribe Hilton; tomorrow we rent a car and drive to the southwestern coast of Puerto Rico, and we'll be at the Copamarina Beach Resort starting tomorrow afternoon.

It's really hot here. I'm kind of thinking of stopping by a K-Mart and buying a few pairs of shorts. (I don't own any. So sue me.)
