Now that that's done with...
Oct. 7th, 2004 08:48 amI have nothing to do at work.
Seriously. Nothing. I have no tasks, no assignments. I spent the first hour finishing up some unfinished analyses, and the hour and a half after that cleaning my office. I probably filed well over a thousand sheets of paper, and easily twice as much as was filed went into the recycling. I now know where everything is, and no longer have the Training Schedule April-June 2003 sitting forlornly on my desk.
And now? Nothing.
Hm.
(Looking at the icon for this post, however, has reminded me that I learned a useful Photoshop trick yesterday, courtesy of Creative Bits. When using the Eyedropper tool, if you right-click (in Windows) or Option-click (in OS X), you get a menu that lets you take a point sample (in other words, the color of the pixel you point to), the average of a 3x3 square centered on the pixel you click on, or the average of a 5x5 square. Which is pretty cool if you're dealing with things like odd gradients or dithers.
Now I just have to actually, y'know, learn how to use Photoshop.)
