Forgotten

I went to the gym last night before I came home, in a failed attempt to wake up. As I was leaving (at about 9:45 PM, about 15 minutes before they closed), the music video they were playing, and thus the song that was playing on all of the speakers in the establishment, was Madonna's "Bedtime Story", which has as its chorus:

Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious
Let's get unconscious, honey
Let's get unconscious

Two thoughts occurred to me:

• This is exactly the sort of song that would be playing in a bad TV-commercial dream sequence.
  
• This is perhaps not the best song in the world to be playing at 9:45 PM.

I'm just sayin'.
