Just got back from seeing Pirates of the Caribbean.

Oh.
My.
God.

Not only was it good, it was a solid good. And a hell of a lot of fun to boot. I only had a couple of quibbles, and they only took me a few minutes to think out, and I can understand why the movie left out more explanation (it's about 135-140 minutes long, depending on whether you stay through the credits for the bonus scene).

I... wow. I want to be Johnny Depp when I grow up.

fadethecat, don't let me turn the Niente Perdere into a pirate ship.

I am sleepy, and sore tired.

I don't want to go to bed.

If I go to bed, I'm going to go to sleep. If I go to sleep, then when I wake up, I won't be on vacation anymore. I don't want that to happen.

On the other hand, if I stay up, I'm not going to enjoy being awake except as it represents defiance of returning to work.

Damn it.
