Jun. 11th, 2003 08:45 amthat today is going to get better. Actually, I'm hoping this week gets better. Most of my complaints are petty, and I know this, and to be truthful I'm not even all that frustrated by them. I just feel in general like I'm off my game this week, and today isn't making me change my mind.

On the positive side, I now have a Brita filter (which will probably pay for itself within two weeks), a new salt shaker (since like so much of my stuff, my old salt shakers vanished in the move), a drain sieve (I can't think of what else to call it; it goes in the sink drain and has holes in it, so that water and little things can pass through, but not big chunks), and a citrus reamer. I think I know where Penny Arcade got the idea for the Fruit Fucker 2000 now. (A citrus reamer is essentially a thick, ribbed spike on a handle. You cut the lemon-orange-whatever in half, and use the reamer to pulverize the inside, generation a truly copious amount of juice. Which, hopefully, you're catching in a bowl.)
