To anyone who decided to avoid being stuck in a traffic jam on I-83 North by driving on the shoulder:
Because you thought that was a good idea, the ambulance headed to the accident that caused the traffic jam was stuck behind you for half an hour.
Because you thought that was a good idea, people died.
I hope you got home on time.
