I wonder...
Oct. 18th, 2002 09:16 am...if this office has a Casual Friday policy.
I don't know why I'm asking, as I'd likely wear exactly the same thing, only with the shirt unbuttoned. Still, it's something interesting to know.
On the other hand, I'm not even sure there's a dress code here. I've seen people walking in and out in a T-shirt and jeans, although I'm pretty sure they're construction crews for the garage out back. Then again, my father's students and administrative assistants go to work in Hawaiian shirts and shorts occasionally, and he works for the same company I do (albeit in a different department).

fadethecat's back posts (go love her. She needs love), and - "supposed to wait a day or so before posting again"? Good Lord, how many rules have I broken?
In other news that nobody really cares about, I finally started personalizing my work area today (after a month and a half of working here): I brought EVA-00 from home to sit on my desk. I don't have a little Rei figurine, but maybe I'll get one in the future.

Contradiction in terms
Oct. 18th, 2002 11:29 amI'm in an amazingly good mood right now, all things considered. I'm doing well at work, my family loves me, if I don't have friends then at least I have people who like hanging out with me and will let me crash on their floor/couch if I need to, I'm not short of money, and I'm about to get a bunch of stuff I really want.
So why do I feel like I'm about to break down and cry?
