Today's been too long by far already, and I've only been up for four hours. Alex has been at his most uncooperative and snotty today, I'm still nursing a sore throat (and possibly something gastrointestinal), and the snow is still coming down outside. (We're probably up to 8-10" by now.) I'm also still feeling kind of dizzy; whether this is from getting a (tetanus) shot yesterday, starting a new medication (Flonase), or barely eating anything yesterday is up for debate. As a result of all of this, I'm in kind of a low mood right at the moment; it feels like someone has wrapped a blanket around my pleasure centers.

I had an odd dream last night, about living in a castle/bookstore/video store where anyone who completed a set of challenges (I don't remember what they were) became the new master of the castle. I'd started out as the master, but a series of "assistants" kept showing up and completing the challenges. I remember being attracted to one of these "assistants", but having my hopes shattered when Dave asked her out first.

I have no idea what that means, although it certainly fits a pattern Dave and I had in college, and it may have been triggered by his asking after fadethecat right before I went to bed.
